Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker soaked in a Super Bowl win Sunday against the New England Patriots, securing the Lombardi Trophy with a 29-13 triumph.
Walker made a few types of NFL history, which included joining rare company alongside Marcus Allen and Timmy Smith with multiple rushes of 25 yards or more in the same Super Bowl according to ESPN Insights. He also broke a 29-year Super Bowl drought, becoming the first running back since former Denver Broncos star Terrell Davis to win MVP.
Walker also put his name in the Michigan State history books, joining a short list of Spartans alumni to have their Super Bowl moment. Only Walker and former Super Bowl champion Nick Foles (Philadelphia Eagles) achieved MVP honors.

Before the Super Bowl, Walker told reporters this season was a huge growth year for him. Now with him ending the season as a champion, there is much more to potentially look forward to.
"Personally, I always want to get better each year. It means a lot. You learn it each year," Walker said. "This is another chance for me to learn more."
If it was up to Walker, sticking around Seattle makes sense.
"I've been here four years, so you know I've gotten to know a lot of stuff about Seattle, and you know a lot of the city, and I feel like they feel good about me as well," Walker said. "So if it was my choice, though, I'd definitely stay."
