Endrick’s agent, Thiago Freitas, spoke on the Win Win channel about the Brazilian forward’s adaptation, his loan to Lyon, and his long-term future at Real Madrid.

Endrick had absolutely no problem adapting at all. He scored in his first Champions League match, in his first La Liga match, and in his first Copa del Rey match,” Freitas said.

Asked why Endrick left Real Madrid, Freitas pointed to the context of the squad.
“Endrick only played a few minutes with Real Madrid because when he arrived at the club, and if you look at the attackers there, you’ll find that eight of the ten best players in the world are at Real Madrid: Vinícius Júnior, winner of The Best FIFA award; Mbappé, a huge and exceptional player; Jude Bellingham, a great player capable of winning the Ballon d’Or; and Rodrygo, a footballer who decides many important Champions League matches. It’s completely normal for an 18-year-old player to arrive at a club like this and have few minutes.”

He also stressed the lack of preseason continuity.
It’s important to mention that Endrick didn’t start the season with the rest of the players. He didn’t travel to the United States for the Club World Cup and he was injured. At a club like Real Madrid, when you’re out for three or four months, it’s very normal to have difficulties getting back to playing.

On Endrick’s future after the loan:
Endrick was loaned to Lyon for six months. The decision is already made and Endrick will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season. There is no ambiguity or secret about it. The deal is only a loan, with no purchase option, therefore Endrick will return. What will happen next season? I can’t predict it, but I can tell you that at the end of this season Endrick will once again be a Real Madrid player.

Freitas confirmed conversations with coaches.
Yes, Endrick spoke with Ancelotti and, of course, he also spoke with Xabi Alonso about this topic. He’s a young player, and both are very experienced coaches, great winners as players and as coaches, so any advice coming from them has enormous value.

On advice from teammates:
Yes, Endrick is friends with them and, of course, he speaks with them daily. He also has other friends in the Brazilian national team, like Lucas and Bruno, who play at Lyon. He spoke with them about the club, the fans, and the city, and they help him a lot.

On Mbappé’s presence:
I can’t predict it, I don’t know. Endrick always thinks with a football mentality: the next match and then the next one, always the next match. We can’t anticipate what will happen at Real Madrid next season. I don’t know who the coach will be, I can’t say anything about the rest of the players, nor do I know if they’ll stay or not. Talking about next season now is a waste of time, because there are still three months left in the current season.
