George Kittle is a big fan of his wife Claire’s first Sports Illustrated cover!

Speaking to the outlet in an interview over Super Bowl weekend, the San Fransico 49ers tight end, 32, gave his thoughts about the campaign images for his spouse’s Sports Illustrated bikini photoshoot.

“Fabulous,” he said. “Absolutely fabulous.”

Claire — alongside high-profile NFL WAGs Brittany Mahomes, Christin Goff, Haley Cavinder, Ronika Love and Normani — each starred on a cover for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s February digital edition, which highlighted the role of the WAG as a “symbol of influence, independence, and impact” in culture, per a statement from the outlet.

In his interview, George — who has been married to Claire since 2019 — said he was “so excited” when he saw his wife’s cover.

“The only negative is that it came out at 5 a.m. this time, so we woke up to look at it,” he joked. “She’s just crushing it. People are like, ‘Oh wow, Claire is cooler than you.’ I’ve been saying it for 10 years, that my wife is cooler than me. Now you guys are starting to believe me.”

When asked where in their house he planned to hang the cover, George gave an immediate answer: “Wallpaper.”

“Probably cover my fridge — we’ll just put it everywhere,” he said.

George’s latest NFL season ended early when he tore his right Achilles tendon on Jan. 11 in a playoff matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. But his team was swiftly knocked out of contention for the Lombardi Trophy the following week, getting crushed 6-41 by the Seattle Seahawks, who would go on to best the Patriots in Super Bowl LX.

During the season, Claire did much more than spectate from the sidelines: The 31-year-old hosted the podcast Wife'd Up, Mic'd Up alongside fellow WAG Kristin Juszczyk, giving followers behind-the-scenes insight and footage.

Speaking to PEOPLE in December, Claire shared that “game days are so much more than just the game: it's about 'fits, who's in town, who traveled here.”

"I feel like we have a lot of life-of-the-parties in our group, and it could be anybody on any given Sunday," she continued, describing game day. "We'll always have one or two really good ring leaders, good party members. That's always at the forefront."

She also revealed that her New Year's resolution for 2026 was “trying to say yes to more opportunities.”

"I feel like I know who I am and I just want to see where these opportunities may take me,” she shared. "Just trying to get into that uncomfortable fear zone, because that's when you can grow.”
