4A Playoffs

Green Canyon 78, Mountain Crest 63

Green Canyon defeated Mountain Crest 78-63 in the 4A playoff first round to advance. A dominant third quarter, where Green Canyon outscored Mountain Crest 21-11, was crucial to their victory. Gavin Erickson led Green Canyon with 28 points, including four 3-pointers, while Jackson Branz scored 22 points, including three 3-pointers, for Mountain Crest. The Wolves will face No. 2 Pine View in the next round.

Judge Memorial 67, Desert Hills 48

Judge Memorial defeated Desert Hills 67-48 in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Aymen Ismail led the Bulldogs with 24 points and six 3-pointers, while Kalou Ruot added 19 points. Judge Memorial took a commanding lead in the first quarter, outscoring Desert Hills 23-8. The Thunder was led by Chaustin Brazzle and Tyson Arthur, who each scored 10 points. With the win, Judge Memorial advances to face No. 1 Provo in the second round.

Snow Canyon 69, Cedar City 64

No. 9 Snow Canyon advanced in the 4A playoffs by edging out No. 24 Cedar 69-64. The decisive third quarter saw the Warriors outscore Cedar 29-14, establishing a lead they maintained despite a late surge from the Reds. Issaiah Thompson led Snow Canyon with 21 points and six rebounds, while Cedar’s Ty Rowley tallied a game-high 26 points, including five 3-pointers. The Warriors will face No. 8 Sky View in the second round.

Timpanogos 84, Summit Academy 40

No. 10 Timpanogos defeated No. 23 Summit Academy 84-40 in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Timpanogos pulled away with a commanding 28-8 run in the second quarter. Jaxen McCuistion led the Timberwolves with 23 points, while Cache Watson, Miles Riley, and Forest Corner-Bettweiser each added nine. Preston Kelly was the leading scorer for Summit Academy with nine points.

Ridgeline 78, Bear River 62

Ridgeline, seeded No. 12, defeated No. 21 Bear River 78-62 in the first round of the 4A playoffs, advancing to face No. 5 Dixie. Ridgeline established an early lead by outscoring Bear River 27-10 in the first quarter. Stockton Hansen led Ridgeline with 16 points, including three 3-pointers, while Cam Earl and Cade Berrett each added 12 points. Bear River’s Kaser Thurgood topped his team with 25 points, bolstered by Cutler Christensen’s four 3-pointers.

Mountain View 75, Stansbury 55

Mountain View defeated Stansbury 75-55 in the first round of the 4A playoffs, advancing to face No. 4 Cottonwood on Feb. 13. The Bruins broke away with a dominant third quarter, outscoring the Stallions 27-14. Joshua Hair led Mountain View with 14 points, while Jake Goodmann contributed 13 points, including one 3-pointer. For Stansbury, Porter Hinton scored a game-high 19 points, with Dallin Jensen adding three 3-pointers and nine points overall.

Murray 52, Uintah 46

Murray topped Uintah 52-46 in the first round of the 4A playoffs to advance to play Crimson Cliffs in the second round. Isaiah Beh led the Spartans with 18 points, including two 3-pointers, while Roman Israyelyan added 15 points. Uintah’s Treyson Mckeachnie scored 13 points, and Charlie Briggs contributed six points with a pair of 3-pointers. Murray secured the win by outscoring Uintah 17-20 in the fourth quarter.

East 73, Jordan 52

East defeated Jordan 73-52 in the first round of the 4A playoffs, led by Oscar Keegan’s 23-point performance. East established a strong lead by outscoring Jordan 24-7 in the first quarter and maintained control throughout the game. Jett Rimando contributed 19 points for East, while Jordan’s Holden Warnick matched that with 19 points, including three 3-pointers. East advances to face No. 6 Hurricane in the second round.

2A Playoffs

Enterprise 61, Rockwell 47

Enterprise defeated Rockwell 61-47 in the 2A Playoffs, advancing to the quarterfinals. Enterprise built a decisive lead by outscoring Rockwell 19-5 in both the first and second quarters. Eric Phelps led Enterprise with 13 points, while Jacob Christiansen was the standout for Rockwell, scoring 22 points, including four 3-pointers.

Waterford 62, Utah Military Camp Williams 56

Waterford defeated Utah Military Camp Williams 62-56 to advance in the 2A playoffs. Camden Judd led Waterford with 22 points, including three 3-pointers, and Solomon Foster added 20 points with four 3-pointers. For Utah Military, H Jimenez was the top scorer with 16 points, highlighted by four 3-pointers. Waterford will face top-seeded Kanab in the second round.

Beaver 53, Merit Academy 38

No. 14 Beaver defeated No. 19 Merit Prep 53-38 in the first round of the 2A playoffs to advance and face No. 3 ALA in the second round. Schevion Ormsby led Beaver with a standout performance, scoring 21 points and hitting five 3-pointers. Noah Wolff contributed with 12 points, including four 3-pointers, to help Beaver expand its lead with 19 points in the third quarter. For Merit Prep, Carter Taeoalii and Smith Sorensen each tallied 15 points, with Sorensen adding one 3-pointer.

Millard 75, Maeser Prep 69

Millard overcame Maeser Prep 75-69 in the first round of the 2A Playoffs, seizing a decisive lead by outscoring them 26-21 in the fourth quarter. Dirk Memmott and Jensen Davies led the Eagles with 14 points each, while B Blad’s three 3-pointers contributed 12. For the Lions, Graham Harmor stood out with 23 points and seven 3-pointers, followed by Kale Garner with 21 points. Millard, the No. 12 seed, advances to face No. 5 Rowland Hall in the next round.

Duchesne 45, North Sevier 42

Duchesne advanced to the quarterfinals with a late-game surge to overcome North Sevier 45-42 in the 2A Playoffs. Trailing into the final quarter, Duchesne rallied with 20 points in the fourth to secure the win. Tucker Lefler led the Eagles with 19 points, while Houston Mickelsen led North Sevier with 13 points, including two 3-pointers. Stockton Ewell added a 3-pointer for Duchesne, contributing to the crucial fourth-quarter comeback.

Draper APA 67, Intermountain Christian 50

Draper APA defeated Intermountain Christian 67-50 in the first round of the 2A playoffs. With the win, the Eagles will advance to face No. 6 South Summit in the next round.

San Juan 83, Vanguard 40

San Juan dominated Vanguard 83-40 in the first round of the 2A playoffs, advancing to play No. 8 APA West Valley in the next round. Tripp Palmer led the Broncos with 19 points, while Cole Duke and George McNaughtan contributed 11 and 14 points, respectively. Vanguard’s James O. scored 11 points, including one 3-pointer, in the loss. San Juan took control in the first quarter, outscoring Vanguard 35-15.

Parowan 58, Grand 44

Parowan defeated Grand 58-44 in the 2A Playoffs, securing its place in the second round against No. 7 Gunnison Valley. Tate Stubbs and Hunter Bettridge each scored 15 points for Parowan, contributing to a strong first half where the Rams outscored Grand 28-18. Grand was led by Jake Mason and Conlan Byrd, who both recorded 14 points.
