KINGSPORT, TN — The Milligan women faced Pikeville in the AAC semi-finals tournament in Kingsport on Friday. The Buffs have already locked down the automatic bid to the NAIA national championship tournament, but would love to go in as the league tournament champions.

The game was closer than expected, but the Lady Buffs defeated the Lady Bears 64-61, led by Semaji Clark with 17 and 11 rebounds, Lina Lyon with 14, and McKenzie Bremer and Callie Reeder each with 10 points.

Milligan will now play in the AAC championship game on Saturday at 3 pm against 3rd seed Reinhardt.
