NC State is well-represented on the ACC’s all-conference teams, as usual. The league announced its postseason awards on Tuesday, and both Zoe Brooks and Khamil Pierre earned First Team honors. Pierre was fourth overall in the voting, while Brooks was right behind her in fifth.

Pierre is averaging 16.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game this season, and Brooks is putting up 16.3 points and 4.3 assists per game. Both have been top-five ACC players this season in the estimation of Bart Torvik’s individual ratings.

Tilda Trygger and Zam Jones also rate in the top 15, according to those ratings, though neither earned All-ACC recognition, which is to say they were outside the top 20 vote-getters. Well, there’s always next year.

The ACC tournament gets underway in Duluth, Georgia (there’s a Duluth in Georgia?) at the esteemed Gas South Arena on Wednesday afternoon, though NC State is off until Friday. The Wolfpack will play either No. 5 Notre Dame, No. 12 Miami, or No. 13 Stanford.
