It’s Senior Night at the Kohl Center.
In their final home game of the season, the Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the Maryland Terrapins at the Kohl Center, with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m. on FS1.
The Badgers are coming off a 90-73 blowout win over the Washington Huskies over the weekend, capping off their West Coast road trip with a 1-1 record. In the win, Wisconsin saw Braeden Carrington hit a program-record nine threes, finishing with 32 points in a career day for the senior guard.
In addition, Nick Boyd had 22 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while the Badgers had 17 threes as a team after getting off to a fast start.
Now, they’re taking on the 11-18 Maryland Terrapins at home, looking to send off their seniors on a high note on Senior Night. The Terrapins have dealt with some injuries in the first year of the Buzz Williams era and have struggled in Big Ten play, going 4-14.
Leading scorer Pharrell Payne only played in 10 games this season, so transfer guard Diggy Coit has led the Terrapins this season with 14 points per game.
Maryland has lost four of their last five games, with the lone win coming over Northwestern, so it isn’t much of a surprise that the Badgers are 14.5-point favorites heading into the game.
