Bristol Bears have signed Sol Moody and Louie Sinclair from second tier Champ side Cornish Pirates after the pair impressed on loan from Exeter Chiefs.

Moody has been in fine form in the Champ with the 20-year-old hooker scoring eight tries in nine appearances this season.

Sinclair has eight appearances for the Pirates under his belt.

Both players are set to complete the current Champ campaign in Penzance before making the move to the Bears in the summer prior to the 2026-27 season.

They become the third and fourth second tier signings as the Bears continue to plunder the Champ rugby scene.

Kahlik Kareem and Tobi Wilson signed earlier this week from Worcester Warriors and Ealing Trailfinders, respectively.

Bears director of rugby Pat Lam said the club were delighted to have secured the ex-Exeter duo for next season.

"Sol is an exciting young hooker with enormous potential," he told the club website. "He's dynamic and powerful, consistently wins collisions and has a real instinct for the try line.

"Louie is another ambitious young player determined to fulfil his potential. The standard of his performances in the Championship has really stood out."
