What have you and your team been doing as of late to get ready for the fall?
“Lately, we’ve been locked in. Early mornings, film study, weight room sessions, and field work, recovery have all been part of our routine. Everyone’s committed, pushing each other to be better every day. We know fall isn’t just a season, it’s the moment we’ve been preparing for all year.”
What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“I’ve focused a lot on my overall IQ of the game and technique, recognizing the alignment and formation quicker, improving my footwork, and understanding situational football better. Mentally and physically, I’ve grown in ways that will help my team this season.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“If we continue to stay disciplined and hungry, I truly believe we’ll turn a lot of heads, we all are hyped for the weak zero game against the California team. We’re not caught up in hype, we just want to play football and prove ourselves every down and more.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“There are a few tough matchups, but valor, Liberty (CA), and Arapahoe all stand out. They’re well-coached, physical, and play fast. We respect every opponent, but we never back down. Have some great talent on the team as well.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Braylon Toliver comes to mind. He’s a strong athlete with good technique. I respect how he carries himself on and off the field, and I look forward to competing at a high level.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes sir, I’d love to play football at the next level. It’s been a dream of mine, and I’m working every day to make that dream a reality. Getting closer every day.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been blessed to receive interest from a few schools, Middle Tennessee St., Colorado School of Mines, Colorado Mesa, and Air Force. I’m grateful for every opportunity and just trying to stay focused on controlling what I can.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“At the moment, Middle Tennessee St. has shown the most consistent interest. The coaching staff has been genuine and I appreciate how they’ve taken time to build a real relationship.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I’ve been able to take a few unofficial visits to get a feel for different programs and campuses. It’s been a great learning experience.”
What camps did you attend this summer? How did the camps go overall?
“I attended Colorado Mesa University, Colorado State University of Pueblo, Colorado St., and Air Force this summer. The competition was great, and I was able to test myself against some of the top talent. I feel like I held my own and learned a lot in the process.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I always admired the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), not just because of their success, but because of how they carried themselves on and off the field. That culture inspired me. I love the location and players there.”
