Phil Parker has one focus starting in the spring and now into fall camp. That focus is that they limit the number of explosive plays against opposing teams. The Iowa defensive coordinator discusses what number that is and why it needs to not exceed it.
We also get some always interesting nuggets from Parker about his defensive backfield, which has a couple of minor injuries early in camp. He talks about the battle for playing time at linebacker and what is going on at the defensive tackle position who are contending for playing time.
