Liverpool attempt to break seven-year RECORD with Community Shield win

Sunday afternoon's Community Shield match against Crystal Palace at Wembley is the 25th that has involved Liverpool and the club will be hoping to notch their 11th win to kickstart the season.

Of course, the reaction to the result of the match very much depends on whether your team wins or loses. It might be a piece of silverware or it could merely just be another pre-season game ticked off.

For Liverpool, securing a win is the attitude. New players are still being broken into the team and reiterating the winning culture at the club is important. Arne Slot will want to see his team win it.
