Hansi Flick's Barcelona closed out their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2025/26 La Liga campaign with a resounding 5-0 Joan Gamper Trophy win over Como.
Scorers: López 21', 35', Raphinha 38', Yamal 42', 49'
Blaugrana got off to an expected start when FermÃn López became the chief benefactor of the high press, winning possession in Como's defensive third before slotting a pinpoint effort into the bottom corner past Jean Butez 21 minutes into the action.
López would pop up again to find his second goal of the evening in the 35th minute with a long-range effort from outside of the box before Raphinha made it three-nil soon after, thanks to a lovely darting run into the box by Marcus Rashford before he squared across goal for the Brazilian to tap home.
And it would not be a Barça result without a goal from Lamine Yamal either, with the Spanish wonderkid jumping in to make it 4-0 from close range after Raphinha turned provider.
Ferran Torres would come on to replace Rashford at the half, and it didn't take the forward long to link up with Yamal for the youngster to complete a brace of his own just four minutes after the restart.
Cesc Fà bregas' side had chances of their own, but few could hold the result against the Italian minnows, with Barça looking primed for the new campaign.
From then on, Barça coasted to secure an emphatic result ahead of their La Liga curtain raiser on the road at Mallorca, with Como also in action next weekend when they meet Serie B outfit Südtirol in Coppa Italia.
