FSU got back to work in Tallahassee in a big way with its second scrimmage of the preseason on Sunday. It was their first practice back on campus after a three day minicamp in Jacksonville.
Despite an early interception nabbed by Jeremiah Wilson vs. the first team offense, FSU head coach Mike Norvell was impressed with the play of quarterback Thomas Castellanos.
“Really pleased with Tommy and his response,” said Norvell. “I think the next two drives he came back and led touchdown drives.”

Florida State will open the 2025 season in a newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium when they host Alabama on August 30.
