Mason Woods talks first fall camp at Iowa.

Mason Woods grew up around the Iowa football program. With his father, LeVar, being the special teams coordinator, Mason was at practice in the fall quite a bit growing up and even during his high school years. Now he’s not observing, he’s participating as a tight end and yes, even a special teams performer for the Iowa football program.

Woods spoke at media day about his time in fall camp and how different it is being a participant and how he snaps his head when he hears his father whistle during practice because he has heard that so much growing up at home.
