The first full week of NFL preseason games has kicked off with plenty of eyes on some of the biggest rookies in the class.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders played on Friday and played well. Tennessee Titans QB and No. 1 pick Cam Ward played on Saturday, as did No. 2 pick and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
Hunter did what was expected. He played both wide receiver and cornerback in his first game in the NFL, finishing with two catches for nine yards on 11 snaps, and he also played eight snaps on defense.
The Jacksonville Jaguars did come up on the short end with a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, although Hunter's performance was fun to see.
Travis Hunter's Personal Admission After NFL Debut
After the game, Hunter had quite an admission about his debut, per Jamal St. Cyr.
"I felt great, a little nervous, but it's all good," Hunter said about his debut. "It definitely settled down when I got the first catch. Really, when the first play started, I settled down...I was a little nervous at first, but after the first play, I was good."
Hunter said he "did pretty good" but said he could've done more if given more opportunities.

Being nervous for his NFL debut is to be expected, but the Jaguars' rookie did admit it settled down after the first play.
Both of Hunter's catches came on the first drive of the game, one that ended with a Cam Little 41-yard field goal.

Hunter is expected to see a lot of run on both sides of the ball during the season, and even quarterback Trevor Lawrence previously spoke about how talented the former Colorado Buffaloes star is, while saying he hopes he plays on offense more.
“He’s so talented, man, it’s hard to keep him off the field," Lawrence said. "He’ll make plays no matter where he is. Of course, as a quarterback, I hope he plays more offense, but wherever he needs to play to make our team better is what’s gonna happen.”
The Jaguars' next preseason game is on Sunday, August 17, against the New Orleans Saints, and it will be worth watching to see how many snaps Hunter plays.
