Taylor Swift has officially released the cover of her 12th album on the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce. The album, titled Life of a Showgirl, was announced on Aug. 12 at 12:12 a.m. ET.
Ahead of the album cover release, New Heights shared a teaser video of Taylor Swift showing off the album cover (that was blurred) to co-hosts Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce. It was a big moment for Swift, as it was her first-ever podcast appearance.

It makes sense that Swift’s podcast was on New Heights, given that she has been dating Travis Kelce since 2023. As a result of their relationship, Swift has attended multiple Kansas City Chiefs games over the last two seasons.
In an interview with GQ, Kelce talked about her relationship with Swift. “Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” he said. “When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love. It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it’s as normal of…. It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint, it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.

Swift’s Life of a Showgirl will be released a little over a year after she released her 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department. The album was a huge success, earning 1.76 billion streams globally within its first week and earning two Grammy nominations.
In her career, Swift has earned 58 Grammy nominations with 14 wins. Four of Swift’s Grammy awards are for Album of the Year, which is a record.
