Big news for Travis Kelce.
Andy Reid Reacts to Travis Kelce News on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Kansas City Chiefs are heading into a new NFL season, led by Andy Reid.
The legendary head coach has taken the Chiefs to three straight Super Bowl appearances, having won five AFC titles during the Patrick Mahomes-Travis Kelce era.
As he looks to lead the Chiefs to a Super Bowl title, he commented Wednesday on Kelce's recent run in the news.
Kelce has been one of the biggest names in sports over the past several days. First, he and his brother Jason Kelce made an announcement about pop superstar Taylor Swift's appearance on their podcast, "New Heights."
"Listen, I'm like really old," Reid said. "My grandkids will be all over it. But listen, I'm happy for him. Both of them like each other, and what a plus that is. They care about each other, and I think that's the most important thing. The older you get, you want these guys to have someone they can settle down with and that whole thing."

Reid also shared his reaction to Kelce being named as the cover of GQ Sports, the September edition. The news dropped just after the topic on Swift, keeping Kelce at the spotlight in the sports world.
During his photoshoot with GQ, Kelce was seen holding a small alligator. He posed for several other unusual shots with animal fur.
"It's great to be young man," Reid said. "That alligator is 175 pounds or something. Made him hold for quite a while, it looked like. I'm not sure who was madder, the alligator or Travis."
Aside from being a star off the gridiron, Kelce has continued to prove that he's one of the best tight ends in NFL history.
Kelce is heading into his 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs, having posted three touchdowns and 823 yards on 97 receptions last season.
