The Denver Nuggets have been predicted to land a former Golden State Warriors' forward to help upgrade their depth.

The Denver Nuggets are set to enter the 2025-26 NBA season as a championship contender in the Western Conference after making major changes to their roster this offseason.
Of course, the Nuggets have been eliminated in the second round of the playoffs in back-to-back seasons and they felt as though it was time for a change this summer.
Denver began their offseason by trading Michael Porter Jr. and a 2032 first-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Cameron Johnson as they add a three-point sharpshooter to their roster and also freed up cap space.
They then used their extra cap space to sign Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown in free agency and they also acquire Jonas Valanciunas from the Sacramento Kings.
With their improved depth and their core of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon returning next season, the Nuggets are expected to be a major threat to win a title.
Nuggets predicted to land Kyle Anderson from Jazz
Despite this, the Nuggets could still look at ways to add even more depth before the start of next season and with this in mind, The Sporting News’ Dean Simon recently released a mock trade that would see Denver acquire a former Golden State Warriors’ forward.
In the trade, Simon has the Nuggets sending Zeke Nnaji and a second-round pick to the Utah Jazz for Kyle Anderson.
For Anderson, he was traded to the Jazz earlier this summer in the trade that sent Norman Powell to the Miami Heat and John Collins to the Los Angeles Clippers.
With the Jazz still in a rebuild, they would likely be open to the idea of moving Anderson to a contender and that is exactly what they would do here and they would also acquire a young forward in Nnaji and more draft capital to help them in their rebuild.
For the Nuggets, adding Anderson to their bench would be another upgrade for their second unit.
The 31-year-old forward is a solid scorer, great playmaker for his position and can also guard multiple positions while also giving the Nuggets more size off the bench.
By making this trade, the Nuggets would fill another key hole in their second unit which could help them compete for a championship next season.
