Jets injury report: Jermaine Johnson, Sauce Gardner named among players out vs. the Giants

Here who will not be playing against the Giants in preseason Week 2 for the Jets.

The New York Jets welcomed pass rusher Jermaine Johnson back to the practice field this past week during training camp.

While Johnson has returned from his serious Achilles injury sustained 11 months ago, that only relates to practice. As the Jets take on their cross-town rival in Week 2 of the preseason, Johnson will among players that will not be playing.

The Jets announced a total of 10 players that will not play because of injury, including CB Sauce Gardner (calf) as well, but his issue is not believed to be serious.
