Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal outcast Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The 28-year-old struggled for first-team opportunities last season, and he is not said to be part of Mikel Arteta’s plans in 2025-26.
According to Sky Sports, Fenerbahce have explored the conditions of a deal for the Ukraine international.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to reach an agreement.
The North Londoners reportedly want a fee worth £20 million, despite the player’s contract expiring in June next year.
The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order due to the emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly and the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori last year.
Despite being fit for the majority of last campaign, he made only five starts in the Premier League.
Zinchenko came to Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
The left-back was expected to help the team fight for trophies, but he has struggled for form and fitness in recent years.
The Ukrainian footballer has made 91 appearances in all competitions over the last three years, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
Arsenal have had a busy summer transfer window. They have spent over £200m on six signings as Arteta looks to win the Premier League trophy in 2025-26.
To remain compliant with the Premier League’s financial rules, Arsenal are looking to sell their fringe stars.
Arteta’s side have already parted company with Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos, but they are also looking to sell Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, Jakub Kiwior and Karl Hein before the September 1 transfer deadline.
