The Sacramento Kings will enter the 2025-26 season looking to make the playoffs after making some notable additions to their roster this offseason.
Of course, the Kings elected to keep their core of Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine together this summer despite many around the NBA believing that they would begin a rebuild.
Sacramento also added Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud in the 2025 draft and they signed Dennis Schroder in free agency to fill their void at the point guard position left by the De’Aaron Fox trade last season.
With these new additions, the Kings are hoping to challenge for a playoff spot next season in the loaded Western Conference.
Kings 2025-26 schedule revealed
On Thursday, the NBA officially revealed the 2025-26 schedule for every team and here are some of the Kings’ marquee matchups.
Sacramento will begin the new season on the road on October 22 against the Phoenix Suns before returning home for their home opener at the Golden 1 Center on October 24 against the Utah Jazz.
They will then begin group play in the Emirates NBA Cup on November 7 at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder before traveling to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on November 14.
Sacramento will then finish the final two games of group play at home against the Suns on November 26 then on the road to face the Jazz on November 28.
The Kings did not receive a game on Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve but they will host the Boston Celtics on New Year’s Day.
On February 21, they will travel to take on the San Antonio Spurs at the Moody Center in Austin Texas.
Their final home regular season game comes on April 10 against the Golden State Warriors before they end the regular season on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers on April 12.
The Kings have some intriguing matchups next season as they try to fight for a playoff spot in the West.
