MLB outfielder Victor Robles lost his cool — and his bat — during a minor league game on Sunday, Aug. 17.

The 28-year-old Seattle Mariners star, who is currently on a Triple-A assignment while rehabbing a shoulder injury, hurled his bat in the direction of Las Vegas Aviators pitcher Joey Estes after he was hit by the ball, according to MLB.com.

In footage from the incident, Robles charged the mound after he was hit by the pitch, but was restrained by teammates.

After being ejected from the game, the former Washington Nationals player — who won a World Series championship with the team in 2019 — threw a box of snacks from the dugout onto the field, ESPN reported.

Robles’ outburst comes amid his lengthy rehab for an injury that he sustained in April.

In a game against the San Francisco Giants, the Dominican player made a spectacular diving catch in the outfield, but slammed his shoulder into the foul-ball netting.

The Mariners announced that an MRI exam revealed a fracture in the humeral head of the shoulder, according to MLB.com.

At the time, officials with the team said the fracture would heal without surgery, but that Robles would be sidelined for at least 12 weeks.

For Robles, his time in the minors has not been without other incidents.

According to MLB.com, he has been hit by a pitch three times in five games, including twice last week.

Following Sunday’s game, the Mariners player apologized for his outburst in a lengthy Instagram Stories post, and said the recent death of his mother has affected his play.

"I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for my recent reaction on the field,” he wrote. “I let my frustration get the best of me, and I understand how that may have affected not just the game, but the energy and respect we all work so hard to maintain.”

He continued, “Coming off a long rehab and being away from the game for most of the season has been physically and mentally challenging. Adding to that, the recent passing of my mother has been incredibly hard, and I’ve been doing my best to hold it together. That’s not an excuse, but some context I feel you deserve to understand where I’m coming from.”

He concluded: “Getting hit 5 times in 15 at-bats added to that pressure, and I reacted in a way I’m not proud of. This game means the world to me, and so do the people who play it. I respect every one of you – my teammates, the opposing players, and everyone in this league.”
