The final week of the NFL preseason is here as teams across the league will be making their final adjustments for the regular season. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers will kickoff Week 3 of preseason when the pair meet in Charlotte, NC, Aug. 21.
The Steelers are coming off a 17-14 loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 16. After the Buccaneers struck for two touchdowns early, Pittsburgh's defense held their offense scoreless until the waining moments of the game when Chase McLaughlin nailed a game-winning 42-yard field goal.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is slated to play every healthy starter except for T.J. Watt, DK Metcalf, Aaron Rodgers and Cam Heyward this week.
The Panthers come into the preseason finale dropping its second consecutive game, falling to the Houston Texans20-3 on Aug. 16. Starting quarterback Bryce Young played just two drives in the contest, throwing two passes that fell incomplete.
