Two days from PSG vs Angers, corresponding to MD2 of Ligue 1, it's already possible to predict the lineups. On the Parisian side, João Neves is back from suspension, and Luis Enrique should field a more competitive starting XI than at Nantes.

Five days after their 1-0 victory at Nantes, PSG return to action and to the Parc des Princes this Friday for the reception of Angers in the second matchday of Ligue 1.

And after having changed seven players between the match against Tottenham and that at Nantes, Luis Enrique should once again revolutionise his starting eleven against Angers.

Although in goal, Lucas Chevalier should secure a third consecutive start, the return of the first-choice defence against Angers is expected, with, from right to left, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes. The two centre-backs remained on the bench against Nantes while the two full-backs played the final half-hour at La Beaujoire.

In midfield, there should also be changes, given that João Neves has completed his two-match suspension. Vitinha, who has played both matches against Tottenham and Nantes, could make way against Angers in order to give rhythm to all players.

PSG vs Angers: Vitinha could remain on the bench

If that's the case, Fabian Ruiz is expected to start in the defensive midfield position. Against opponents of this calibre, Luis Enrique doesn't hesitate to use his compatriot in this role. Warren Zaïre-Emery could play as right interior, with potentially João Neves as left interior.

In attack, Ousmane Dembélé is expected after playing 90 minutes against Tottenham and 29 against Nantes, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (72 minutes played this season) on the left. On the right, there will likely be competition between Désiré Doué (106 minutes) and Bradley Barcola (119 minutes).

PSG predicted starting XI vs. Angers: Chevalier; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes; Zaïre-Emery (or Vitinha), Ruiz, Neves; Doué (or Barcola), Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.

On Angers' side, who defeated Paris FC last Sunday with a 1-0 scoreline, Alexandre Dujeux will be without his attacking midfielder, Louis Mouton, suspended.

The Angers manager could also be without his Algerian captain, Haris Belkebla, nursing a calf injury.

With a pending departure this summer and still in the rehabilitation phase, attacking midfielder Himad Abdelli is ruled out for Friday, while in goal, Hervé Koffi should start.

Angers predicted starting XI vs. PSG: Koffi; Arcus, Camara, Lefort, Hanin; Raolisoa, Belkhdim, Belkebla (or Courcoul), Chérif; Allevinah, Lepaul.
