As you might expect, considering Kentucky’s immense influence in the current NBA landscape, dozens of Wildcats will be featured in the game. Including the incoming rookies, there are expected to be roughly 30 Kentucky alums on an NBA roster by the time the 2025-26 season begins in mid-October. And as of Thursday, we now know player ratings for the most talented Wildcats.
Throughout the week, NBA 2K has been rolling out its 100 highest-rated players list for this year’s game. The top 10 was unveiled on Thursday. Headlined by reigning league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who earned a 98 overall rating after helping the Thunder win a championship last season, there are 12 total Kentucky players ranked in the top 100, including 10 in the top 50 alone. Only three-time MVP Nikola Jokic (also a 98 overall) of the Nuggets is rated higher than SGA.
