The Washington Mystics haven’t had many truly bad losses in the 2025 WNBA season. But today, they lost 67-56 to the Connecticut Sun on the road, losing twice in a row to the WNBA’s worst team — twice in a week.
Washingotn shot just 37.3 percent from the field while the sun shot 40.3 percent Themselves. Both teams also shot under 20 percent from the field. Washington also committed 20 turnovers which turned into 20 points for the Sun, which more than made the difference.
For Washington, Sonia Citron led with 15 points, but also committed 4 turnovers. Kiki Iriafen scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. For the Sun, Tina Charles led with 21 points.
