Farmaggedon went international on Saturday, kicking off the college football season in Dublin. Iowa State will have a happy flight back to the United States thanks to some guts from head coach Matt Campbell. A third straight win in the rivalry vs. Kansas State, some postgame mocking took place.

KSU athletic director took aim at Iowa State and their uniforms before the game. Taylor said, “(Iowa State AD) Jamie Pollard had to beg their fans to wear their colors, because they don’t know what the hell their colors are.” The Cyclones are well known for wearing black uniforms despite having primary colors of red and yellow.

Iowa State’s Matt Campbell responded once his team earned a win. Telling a reporter to ask him about the program wearing black, Campbell pointed out how color scheme is not really at the top of his mind.

“We don’t really care what color we wear,” Campbell said. “It’s never been about a jersey color for us, it’s never been about any of that. It’s been about team, togetherness, and playing winning football. So, I appreciate the question. Go Cyclones.”
