We hit 11 in our Raiders countdown to kickoff. Who wore it best and wearing it now

With the 2025 season 11 days away, we look at who wears the number for the Raiders now and who wore it best.

We have reached 11 days until the Raiders season opener at Foxboro against the Patriots, With our countdown at 11 days we take a look at who currently dons the number in Silver & Black and who has brought it the most distinction.

No. 11

Who's wearing it now: S Jeremy Chinn

Chinn was the top free agent signing this offseason for the Raiders and the only one to receive more than a one-year deal. That's because they have big plans for him at both safety and nickel corner. He is a safety by trade, but in nickel situations, they want him to line up at cornerback with another DB coming in to take his spot at safety. He didn't see much time this preseason, but in his limited time, he had a gorgeous interception, which would seem to confirm the Raiders' faith in his abilities.

Who wore it best: K Sebastian Janikowski

A first round pick by the Raiders in 2000. He spent 17 years as the Raiders kicker. He was known for being a bit of a drinker (to say the least) and for his big leg, earning him the nickname the Polish Cannon. His 63-yard field goal in 2011 tied for the longest in NFL history at the time and was THE longest outside Denver's thin air. It wasn't until ten years later when anyone outside of Denver beat his mark. Janikowski's 1799 career points scored is more than double that of the next in line in franchise history. As are his seasons scoring more than 100 points (10).

Honorable Mention: QB David Humm

Some of you might be wondering who David Humm is and why he's here. Well, Humm won two Super Bowls with the Raiders. He was the backup quarterback, but more importantly he was the holder on field goals and extra points. He played seven years for the Raiders in that role, with a stint in-between with the Bills and Colts. Had he stuck with the Raiders his entire career, he would have three rings.
