Adam Schefter's typo inadvertently gave Micah Parsons a cool nickname after Packers trade

It's no Arson Judge, but it works.

Micah Parsons is no longer a member of the Dallas Cowboys, and Adam Schefter may have accidentally given the All-Pro defensive end a nickname on the way out.

It just came via a typo.

After months of stalled negotiations and posturing from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Dallas stunningly decided to trade Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for two first-round picks and defensive lineman Kenny Clark. Schefter was all over the news, but it sure seemed like he typed too quickly in his excitement for the scoop.

He called Micah Parsons ... "Micah Packers."

This isn't the first time we've seen a reporter botch a name in the middle of a scoop. Who could forget Jon Heyman's ultimately inaccurate "Arson" Judge tweet?

At least Schefter got the team and destination right. He just didn't quite stick the landing with the name.

But hey, Micah Packers works. He may be onto something there.
