I don’t know what Wesley Grimes ate prior to the game, but he looked like an all-conference player on Thursday night, and NC State could sure use more of that. His 121 receiving yards were a career best and almost doubled his highest output in 2024 (65 yards vs. Stanford).
Still chuckling at Anthony Smith setting an actual basketball pick on the pick play that ECU called for that decisive fourth down. He got away with it since the ball was caught behind the line of scrimmage, so … good job, I guess? Hell of a job by Jamel Johnson right there.
