A clash of MMA veterans unfolded earlier tonight (Fri., Aug. 29, 2025) at DBX 3 LIVE and FREE on YouTube from inside The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Fla., as former UFC fighter Tyson Nam laid waste to former Bellator MMA standout Ricky Bandejas with a first-round TKO.
Nam, who turns 42 this October, looked tremendous from the opening bell. On top of being in great shape, the two-time UFC Performance of the Night winner was landing strikes every step of the way. Bandejas just couldn’t catch up and started to get clipped at a violent rate.
Eventually, Nam unleashed a flurry of shots to the body followed by a right hand that folded Bandejas along the ropes. The former Bellator MMA fighter was unable to continue to defend himself, allowing Nam to pile on punches to hand Bandejas his first career knockout loss.

DBX 3 will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between former UFC contender Jairzinho Rozenstruik and short-notice replacement Rakim Cleveland. We’ll see how the rest of the undercard action plays out, but Nam’s TKO finish was a great way to jumpstart Friday’s event.
