College football is off and running
College football is so back, baby.
The Nittany Lions made a triumphant return to Beaver Stadium Saturday, cruising by Nevada for a season-opening blowout win. Throughout the game, Penn State fans began to rejoice that their favorite team had wide receivers catching passes for once.
The other big story of the day was the continued dominance of Deni Dennis-Sutton, who put on a defensive clinic.
Elsewhere in college football, the season got off to an exciting, dramatic, and chaotic start. Arch Manning struggled in his debut as the starter, the Heisman race became murky, and Kalen DeBoer’s seat became blazing hot.
