We break down the fantasy football outlook of Marvin Harrison Jr. ahead of the Cards’ Week 3 matchup against the 49ers.
Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with an NFC West showdown featuring the Arizona Cardinals visiting the San Francisco 49ers at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Cardinals are off to a 2-0 start to the season and are coming off a 27-22 home victory over the Panthers last Sunday. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was quiet in the Week 2 victory and fantasy managers are certainly hoping for a step up in production during this divisional showdown.
Below, we’ll go over Harrison’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 3.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison caught just two passes for 27 yards against the Panthers last week, generating a meager 4.7 fantasy points in PPR leagues. As a top-20 wideout in ADP entering the season, his numbers have been slightly underwhelming through two weeks as the second-year receiver has been targeted just 11 times with a target share of just 20.37%.
The former Ohio State star isn’t sweating it though and called criticism of offensive coordinator Drew Petzing a “silly conversation”, emphasizing the fact that the Cards are 2-0 with a chance at taking an early lead at the top of the NFC West standings. We’ll see if he’ll get more looks on the road this week.

Sit. Harrison may not be concerned about his production, but fantasy managers should be. He’s going on the road to face a 49ers pass defense that has been excellent through two weeks, boasting the league’s best defensive passing EPA at -0.27. Go with an alternate option as your WR2 and sit him for this week.
