Monday, September 22nd

TrillerTV PPV, 1:30 pm ET, Bravehearts. Can’t tell you where this is happening (my best guess is Glasgow) or who is fighting, because those details are not available on Triller, BoxRec, or the promoter’s social media. HOWEVER, there appears to be an event happening as I type this on Sunday the 21st, with the promo art and branding for this $6.99 PPV, with video and highlights of a fight between Shazman Parnez and Lewis Flanigan Murray on Instagram. So… There may have been a scheduling error, or your $6.99 may not be getting you the live broadcast the capsule promises. Also possible the promoter ran multiple days of events, as there also seems to have been fighting under the name and banner on the 19th. Strange! Confusing! And it took so long to research and try to explain, I didn’t even get to make any Mel Gibson jokes!

Thursday, September 25th

TrillerTV+, 2:00 am ET, Wanderer Promotions 6. From Bella Vista, Australia. Aussie titles on the line in the two headline fights between Koen Mazoudier and Jorge Kapeen, and Jessica Messina and Arlene Blencowe.

Saturday, September 27th

DAZN, 2:00 pm ET,  Ben Crocker vs Sean McComb. A GBM Sports show rom Sheffield, England. You may remember McComb from his loss to Arnold Barboza on the Haney-Garcia undercard. You’re less likely to know Crocker, unless you’re Welsh, but he’s the one bringing a lesser IBF title to the matchup. Tysie Gallagher vs Ellie Hellewell is your chief support, and everyone else listed on BoxRec is still fighting TBA.

ProBox TV, 6:30 pm ET, Najee Lopez vs Kalvin Henderson. From the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida. This card also features 19 year old Juanmita Lopez de Jesus, 2024 Olympian and son of the legendary Juanma Lopez. Juanmita is a recent Top Rank signee, keeping busy here while Top Rank try to sort out a new broadcast partner. Fun fact about the venue: It just hosted an exotic reptile convention! NO IGUANAS ALLOWED, though, as the organizers warned: “Recent changes in Florida law prohibit the display of pet Iguana species and Tegus in public settings.  For your protection and for ours, pet Green Iguanas and Tegus are not allowed within the show, regardless of permit status.” Turns out, you can’t keep iguanas as a pet unless you registered them over four years ago, but you CAN hunt them for sport without a license! So, if you’re at this show and you’re passing time between fights… Feel free to blast any iguanas you may see in the parking lot!

DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Most Valuable Prospects 15. From Montreal, Canada. Main event is Sol Cudos defending her IBF minimumweight title against Kim Clavel. Olympic standout and new MVP signee Nelvie Tiafack makes his first appearance for the promotion much further down the card.

DAZN, 9:00 pm ET, Miura Boxing. From Metepec, Mexico, which apparently does a brisk trade in tourist hot air balloon rides. Jaqueline Calvo and Alma Meraz fight for an interim WBA light flyweight belt in the main. I’d tell you who else is on the card, too, if I could.
