Washington Commanders vs Las Vegas Raiders 4th Quarter

Washington Commanders host the Las Vegas Raiders

The Washington Commanders are hosting the Las Vegas Raiders, and they’re in need of a get-right game after a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers last Thursday night. That game resulted in three players going on IR, with two of them being season-ending injuries. QB Jayden Daniels was also injured, suffering a knee sprain that will force him to miss his first NFL game. Marcus Mariota gets his first start since 2022, but he played well in relief for three games last season.

Both teams enter today’s game with a 1-1 record. The Raiders are in Year 1 with Pete Carroll as their new head coach, and the oldest HC in the league is looking to prove that he’s still got what it takes to lead a team to a championship. Geno Smith will be under center today, less than a full week removed from his three-interception performance in a 20-9 loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.
