It was recently announced that the much-criticized boxing exhibition bout between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis — which was scheduled to go down on Nov. 14, 2025 in Atlanta, Ga., streaming exclusively on Netflix — will no longer be going down in “The Peach State.”
The Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission (GAEC) was not too thrilled to hand out permits and approve the fight due the big weight difference, as Paul outweighs Tank by over 60 pounds. No fret because Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) was quick to find a new host city for “The Biggest Fight of Year,” which is now set to go down Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla. Despite the change in location, the event will take place on the same day as originally planned and on Netflix.
As a result a new, more colorful, poster had to be created by the powers that be, which you can see below:
It’s giving me Grand Theft Auto vibes. Oh, wait…
Tank is out to show the boxing world what happens when Paul stops “cherry picking” his opponents, so it will be interesting to see if he can actually hurt — or even stop — the much bigger man come fight night. For Paul, a win over Davis would be the biggest of his combat career, though it would still open him up to more scrutiny given the size and weight advantage.
