Injry updates after yesterday's win
The Washington Commanders got a big win yesterday, beating the Las Vegas Raiders 41-24, and moving to 2-1 on the season. They also added more names to their ever-growing injury list with five more players getting dinged up. Safety Will Harris was the first player to go down, and he might have suffered the worst injury of the day. He was ruled out with an ankle injury, and Ian Rapoport reported that he suffered a broken fibula, and will miss some time. The secondary was already missing CB Jonathan Jones who was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury last week.
Safety Percy Butler was the next Commanders player to go down with injury. He was questionable to return with a hip injury. The secondary lost two more players with Trey Amos suffering a calf injury, and Marshon Lattimore being evaluated for a concussion.
Wide receiver Terry McLaurin was robbed of a touchdown by league officials, and he left the game with a quad injury. These injuries are on top of QB Jayden Daniels(knee), TE John Bates(groin), and WR Noah Brown(groin) being ruled out before the game, along with RB Austin Ekeler(Achilles) aand DE Deatrich Wise Jr(quad) going to IR with season-ending injuries last week.
Dan Quinn didn’t provide any injury updates after the game, except for his own bloody nose after getting trucked on the sidelines by QB Marcus Mariota. He will speak to the media today, but don’t expect much until Wednesday’s injury report and presser.
