The Buffalo Bills continue their record-setting ways

What milestones have the Buffalo Bills reached this week?

We’re finally just through Week 3 of the NFL season and even though the Buffalo Bills seemed to have come out possibly overlooking the Miami Dolphins at home, all that matters is that they found a way to win. As a team, Buffalo also continued its record-setting and milestone-surpassing ways. Every few minutes, quarterback Josh Allen and his undefeated Bills were breaking NFL records, tying them, moving up on the franchise list or surging into first on it.

Read on for some of the milestones the Bills managed to reach in Week 3…

The Bills against the Dolphins

Most Bills fans know by now that Josh Allen “owns” the Dolphins. However, he now boasts the most total touchdowns versus a single opponent in 15 career games with 45. He surpassed Dan Marino’s total of 42 against the New York Jets.

Buffalo’s 16 wins against the Dolphins are tied for the most against any opponent since 2017, which includes the playoffs.

The Bills as a team

Buffalo has now won the turnover battle in 24 straight games. This streak happens to be the longest in NFL history.

Per Brooke Kromer, Week 3 was the lowest pressure rate the offensive line has allowed since 2018. Credit to her dad, offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, for working so hard with the team.

The Bills have now scored 30 or more points in each of their first three games for the second consecutive season. They are only the second team in NFL history to do so.

Dalton Kincaid adds to his stats

Tight end Dalton Kincaid has led the Bills in receptions in two of their first three games this season. That’s definitely something Bills fans would like to see more of!

Kincaid also is the first tight end in Bills history to have four or more catches in the first three games of a season.

James Cook gets in on the record-breaking action

Running back James Cook rushed for a touchdown in his seventh-consecutive regular-season game. He has now tied the team record, which was last set by Robb Riddick in 1988.

Rookie TE Jackson Hawes snags his first NFL TD

Tight end Jackson Hawes has been all that and more, a clear force as a blocker and a budding in-line receiver.

Josh Allen is a beast

Not only has Josh Allen become the player fastest to reach 300 touchdowns in NFL history, including playoffs (a record previously held by Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes), he’s also reached a milestone of accruing 200 career passing touchdowns.

Josh Allen also loves primetime games, especially when they’re played on Thursday nights.

Finally, Allen has now had 46 career games with three touchdowns, tying Patrick Mahomes for the most in the NFL since 2018.
