Three days after surgery to repair his turf-toe injury, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was in the team's locker room.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow visited the team's locker room Sept. 22 with his foot in a cast and using a rolling scooter, three days after having successful surgery for the turf-toe injury he suffered in NFL Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Burrow underwent the procedure to repair his Grade 3 turf toe injury at Birmingham's Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported, and Dr. Norman Waldrop performed the procedure.
Burrow is expected to miss most of the season as he recovers. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said on Sept. 17 he wasn't closing the door on Burrow possibly returning this season.
