Did the Cowboys sack the Bears quarterback on Sunday?

The Dallas Cowboys defense has been a major headline for this football team through the first three weeks of the 2025 NFL season. Dallas's defense has given up 24 or more points during the first three games of the season.

They are showing no signs of slowing down other teams anytime soon. The Cowboys lack personnel on the defensive side of the football. A lot of fans can blame defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus all they want, but a change in defensive coordinator would not do much for this team.

Dallas Cowboys Did Not Sack Caleb Williams Once on Sunday

Zak Keefer of the Athletic recapped what happened across the NFL on Sunday. He talked about how poorly the Cowboys defense was once again against the Bears. Keefer said,

"Meanwhile, the Cowboys are off to another uninspiring 1-2 start. Matt Eberflus’ defense has given up 68 points across the last two weeks, and Micah Parsons’ absence in the pass rush feels more pronounced with each passing game. Williams was sacked a league-high 68 times last season. Again, the Cowboys didn’t get to him once Sunday."

With Dallas not sacking Williams on Sunday, this is bad news for the Cowboys defense moving forward. They lack talent on the roster to get after the quarterback. Trading away Micah Parsons was not the best move for owner Jerry Jones. What makes matters even worse is that Parsons returns to Dallas, Texas in week four as a member of the Packers.

There is a chance that the Cowboys defense may not be able to sack Jordan Love. If a lack of pass rush continues for this team, they are not going to win many games during the 2025 NFL season.
