Ousmane Dembele made history on Monday night 22 September 2025 at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris winning the Ballon d'Or and being officially crowned the best footballer in the world.

Dembele’s golden season

The French winger enjoyed remarkable year with Paris Saint Germain and France. He guided PSG to their first ever Champions league title completing historic treble with ligue 1 & the Coupe de France.

Fierce competition for the prize

Dembele edged past rising star Lamine Yamal, teammate Achraf Hakimi and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah who also enjoyed outstanding campaign. Barcelona’s Raphinha was among the other contenders.
