Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery continue to do their thing in Week 3 on Monday Night Football. They both scored touchdowns in the first half against the Baltimore Ravens.
It was the latest reminder of just how dangerous they both are for Detroit, which is why they've got great nicknames.
Gibbs and Montgomery are called Sonic and Knuckles.

Gibbs and Montgomery earned their nicknames from Lions RB coach Scottie Montgomery.
They're nicknamed after video game characters.
Sonic was the star of his video game series. He's a blue hedgehog with lightning fast speed.
Knuckles was an adversary of Sonic who, in some of the games, becomes Sonic's friends. Knuckles is named after his fists, which he uses to punch through things with super strength.

So by the nickname logic, Gibbs is the speed guy and Montgomery is the power guy.
In reality, they both can pretty much do everything.
