South Jersey girls' soccer stars from Week 3, presented by Atlantic City Electric

There were plenty of great performances in the third week of the South Jersey girls' soccer season. Here are our picks for the best.

Palmyra's Mikayla Mangano was the top vote getter in last week's poll, garnering 47.3 percent of the 400 votes recorded. Washington Township's Taylor Stuart and Cherokee's Mia Donovan rounded out the top three.

South Jersey Performances for Week 3

Burlington County Scholastic League

Ava DeFulvio, Holy Cross Prep. The senior delivered six goals in a pair of wins over Burlington Township and Northern Burlington. She had four tallies against Burlington Township on Sept. 16. DeFulvio has four multi-goal games and 10 total goals this season, leaving her 14 short of the century mark for her career.

Allie Glenn, Bordentown. The senior goalie had 11 combined saves en route to a pair of clean sheets as the Scotties silenced Moorestown Friends and Maple Shade.

Shiloh Moore, Cinnaminson. The senior deposited four goals as the Pirates earned wins over rivals Northern Burlington and Delran. Moore tallied her second hat trick in a 4-1 win over the Greyhounds. After back-to-back 27-goal seasons, Moore has eight goals this season, including five in her last three games.

Colonial Conference

Callee Barr, Haddon Heights. The junior goalie stopped five shots to preserve as the Garnets polished off a 1-0 win over Audubon on Sept. 19. Barr has 20 saves in her last three games – all wins. She has two shutouts this season for the 4-1 Garnets.

Maggie Magill, Gateway. The junior scored a goal and set up two more as the Gators knocked off Gloucester, 6-1, on Sept. 19. Her five helpers rank second on the team and matches her total from her first two seasons combined.

Brianna McKeever, West Deptford. Highlighting the Eagles’ first wins of the season, the junior keeper kept Haddonfield and Sterling off the scoreboard. She’s recorded double-digit saves in three games this season, including 10 stops against Haddonfield on Sept. 17.

Olympic Conference

Charleigh Devereaux, Seneca. The sophomore collected three goals and two assists as the Golden Eagles closed out their week with a 2-2 draw against Eastern on Sept. 17 and a 4-1 win over Our Lady of Mercy on Sept. 20.

Avery Kornafel, Shawnee. After suffering their first loss of the season, the Renegades got back on track with a 1-0 win over Moorestown as Kornafel notched the decisive goal in overtime. The defender has scored three goals in her scholastic career – one in each of the last three seasons – and Shawnee boasts a 3-0 record in those games.

Aubrie Lazzaro, Eastern. The senior delivered her first career goal to open the scoring during the Vikings’ 2-1 victory over previously unbeaten Kingsway on Sept. 20.

Tri-County Conference

Olivia Capecci, Delsea. The senior continued to display a knack for delivering big goals in big games, netting a pair in a win against Williamstown on Sept. 16 and accounting for both scores in a 2-2 draw with Cherokee on Sept. 20. She leads the Crusaders with 15 goals, including the decisive goal against Shawnee on Sept. 13.

Hailey Kucharczuk, Woodstown. The freshman continued to play a pivotal role in the Wolverines’ offense as she picked up two goals and two assists in wins over Salem Tech and Penns Grove. She shares the team lead with five goals for the Wolverines, who have won four in a row.

Deondria Simon, Clayton. After scoring two goals and an assist in a win over Salem on Sept. 15, Simon contributed the decisive score as the Clippers sank Pitman with a 3-2 decision three days later. Simon has a team-best six goals in five games.

Cape-Atlantic League

Dani Daley, Wildwood Catholic. The sophomore is off to a sizzling start, leading the team in goals (13) and assists (9) as the Crusaders have opened with a four-game unbeaten streak. She had two goals and four assists in a win over Atlantic City on Sept. 19.

Sicily Cuccinello and Victoria Hoadley, Vineland. The senior tandem each delivered two goals and an assist to highlight the Fighting Clan’s 6-0 win over rival Millville on Sept. 15.

Emma Vince, Ocean City. Following their first loss of the season, the Red Raiders rebounded with wins over Our Lady of Mercy and Vineland and Vince played a pivotal role with a goal and two assists during the stretch. Vince is among the team leaders with three goals and four assists.
