The Baltimore Ravens have had a very rough start to the 2025 season.
The Baltimore Ravens have to face a hard truth after loss to Lions originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Baltimore Ravens have dropped to 1-2 after a loss to the Detroit Lions, and are staring 1-3 in the face as they have a trip to Kansas City on the horizon in Week 4. They gave up 38 points for the second time in three weeks as the Lions' offense had its way with Baltimore's defense.
Detroit gained 416 yards of offense, which takes the Ravens' average yards per game allowed up to 411.6, which is the worst in the NFL. They've also allowed 12 touchdowns, which is the most in the league, and their pass defense is statistically the worst in the NFL. The fact of the matter is that the Ravens' defense - a unit that was hyped as one of the best in the NFL coming into the season - is simply not good. Don't just take my word for it, though - Ravens All-Pro Marlon Humphrey says the same thing.
“We’re just not very good," Humphrey said via Giana Han after the Week 3 loss.
The Ravens will now gear up to go to a place they've never won in the Lamar Jackson era - Arrowhead. Either Baltimore or Kansas City will end their day next Sunday with a 1-3 record - a hole that will not be easy to dig out of.
