The future Hall of Fame quarterback doesn't enjoy watching the Eagles' offense
Drew Brees roasts Eagles offense despite 3-0 start originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Philadelphia Eagles are 3-0 after a dramatic 19-point comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams off the strength of two blocked field goals to steal a victory. Despite the Eagles being unbeaten, they aren't without their critics - some of which are much more higher-profile than others.
Appearing on First Take, former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees says that while he respects the Eagles, he can't dislikes watching them.
"I respect Philly, they are winning games," Brees said. " I can't stand to watch that offense. It's the most boring offense."
Over the first two weeks of the season, the Eagles' passing game was almost nonexistent. Jalen Hurts threw for less than 160 yards in both games and didn't throw a touchdown. In Week 2, especially, the Eagles' passing game was anemic, as Hurts only threw for 102 yards. However, Philadelphia aired it out to fuel the win in Week 3. Hurts threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns, with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith catching touchdowns.
