Tennessee Titans' updated list of 2026 NFL draft picks after stunning Jarvis Brownlee trade originally appeared on The Sporting News

The Tennessee Titans made a stunning transaction on Tuesday, as the team traded away cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. to the New York Jets for a late-round pick swap in the 2026 NFL Draft.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz was first on the news.

"TRADE! The Titans are trading Jarvis Brownlee to the Jets in exchange for a 2026 late round swap, per sources," Schultz wrote on X while breaking the news.

Brownlee showed a ton of promise during his rookie campaign in 2024, starting 14 games and snagging an interception with ten passes defended. However, Tennessee decided to move on from the young corner just a few weeks into the 2025 campaign and go in a new direction under general manager Mike Borgonzi.

As for the Jets, giving up a late-round pick for a rising corner like Brownlee is a fantastic move by general manager Darren Mougey. Brownlee has struggled a bit to open the 2025 campaign and is currently dealing with an injury, but there's no denying that he has a high ceiling.

With the Titans striking a deal involving picks on Tuesday, let's go over the franchise's updated 2026 NFL Draft picks list.

Titans 2026 draft picks after Brownlee trade

According to John Glennon of the Nashville Post, Tennessee is sending Brownlee and a 2026 seventh-round pick to New York for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

That said, here is a look at the Titans' picks in next year's draft:

  • Round 1
  • Round 2
  • Round 3
  • Round 4
  • Round 6
  • Round 6
  • Round 7

If Brownlee wasn't a part of Tennessee's long-term plans, trading him while his value is still solid is a savvy move. However, it's very confusing that the Titans are moving on from one of their young starters in the last week of September.
