The Spartans enter the Passaic County girls soccer tournament as the No. 1 seed, chasing a fourth straight title and sixth in seven years. They’ll be at home for every round leading up to the Oct. 25 final, scheduled for 1 p.m. at Wayne Valley. This year marks a new chapter for the Spartans, who are led by first-year coach Darrell Etienne.
Lakeland (No. 2), Wayne Hills (No. 3), and Wayne Valley (No. 4) earned byes into the quarterfinals.
The bracket opens with a play-in game by Sept. 27 and preliminaries to be held by Oct. 1.
