Wrexham welcome Derby County to the STOK Cae Ras (The Racecourse Ground) this Saturday for Matchday seven of the Championship, with the action kicking off at 12:30 live on Sky Sports+.

After a shaky start to the season, going three league games without a win, the Red Dragons have steadied themselves and now find a bit of rhythm - losing just once in their last six outings in all competitions. That run also includes a midweek Carabao Cup victory which has boosted confidence in the camp.

Derby, on the other hand, are desperate to turn things around. A poor run of form has seen them slip into the relegation places, and they’ll be eager to stop the rot when they head to North Wales.

The Fan Zone

Craig Jones: After another morale boosting victory in the League Cup, we're back at The Racecourse at Saturday lunchtime to face Derby County.

Wrexham notched up their second win of the season in the league last week against Norwich.

After being behind at the break, we came out all guns blazing and scored three superb quickfire goals. Josh Windass scored a brace and his return to the team was hugely significant.

Ben Sheaf and Issa Kabore made their first starts of the season and were also very impressive.

We're now looking for our first back to back league wins this term at home to The Rams.

Derby have perhaps started disappointingly, despite having a great transfer window, with only one win from their six games so far.

Like Wrexham, they have a lot of new players to gel and haven't quite got going yet.

It is still expected to be a competitive game that could go either way, especially with Wrexham's continued defensive frailties.

Team wise, I think it will be very similar to last weekend, with some of the big guns like Moore, Sheaf and Windass returning after a midweek rest.

After impressing in the last two games, I can possibly see Lewis Brunt keeping his place ahead of Callum Doyle in defence though.

We've also been boosted by the return from injury of Ollie Rathbone and he's likely to find a place on the bench.

It's one I'm hoping Wrexham will have enough firepower to win with and I'm going for a narrow 2-1 victory.

Prediction: 2-1

Cory Hancock(The Rams Review Podcast): Derby County head to the Racecourse Ground for the first time in 43 years. The Rams are coming into the match in the bottom three (yes, it is early), having lost 1-0 lost time against Preston in an uninspiring and insipid performance.

Manager John Eustace has almost a fully fit squad to choose from and needs to improve performance as soon as possible. Yes, results have been poor but so have the performance, which is starting to be a slight worry.

A lot of discussion this week amongst the fanbase was Derby's attack. Carlton Morris was on fire during the first few weeks of the season, but he has since cooled off. American international Patrick Agyemang is back fit and has provided a few neat cameos so far. Who starts up front? Morris? Agyemang? Both? This is a tough question, but there is no doubt that this is a good problem for Eustace to have (provided they both keep doing well). I would anticipate Agyemang to come off the bench early in the second half.

Centre-half Sondre Langås is almost back to full fitness, and he will add a different defensive dimension when he returns to the side (although he is probably still a few weeks away).

Wrexham have invested heavily this summer and will be up for it with a partisan home crowd. I would expect them to be up for the match and give the Rams a good game. Both sides have a knack for conceding goals, so hopefully it will be an entertaining game. I would expect Derby to pick up three points on the road, which will be much needed!

Prediction: 1-2
