Oban Elliott's fight with Jonathan Micallef at the UFC Perth Fight Night in Australia on Saturday has been cancelled due to illness.
The Welsh welterweight was due to make his first appearance in the octagon since he suffered his first defeat in UFC against Seok Hyeon Ko in June.
Last week 27-year-old Elliott said he was ready to take revenge after that loss
UFC announced the change to its 27 September bill on its website stating: "Due to illness, Oban Elliott has been removed from his welterweight bout with Jonathan Micallef."
They gave no further details of Elliot's condition.
'The Welsh Gangster' has 12 wins and three losses from his 15 professional bouts.
Australian Micallef boasts an 8-1 professional record and is currently on a three-fight win streak.
The bout at the RAC Arena in Perth was due to be on a card headed by light-heavyweight contenders Carlos Ulberg and Dominick Reyes.
The light heavyweight bout between Junior Tafa and Ibo Aslan has also been removed from the card after Tafa sustained an injury.
