How should Chelsea line up against Brighton & Hove Albion?

Chelsea vs. Brighton & Hove Albion, Premier League: You choose the starting lineup

It’s back to Premier League action for Chelsea this weekend, and it’s also back to Stamford Bridge after four straight away. This run of games turned out to be a bit of a struggle, with plenty of self-inflicted problems causing us to drop points and also lose the good vibes built up during the summer. Welcome to the grind!

On the plus side, the League Cup tie midweek did afford us an opportunity to rotate, with only Enzo Fernández and Trevoh Chalobah starting from among the first-team regulars.

Unfortunately, our injury situation has not gotten any better; in fact, we’re back on top of the Premier League injury charts. What a familiar view from the top!

Cole Palmer’s dealing with a groin problem. Marc Guiu’s “feeling something”, too, while Josh Acheampong missed Tuesday’s game through illness. Roméo Lavia and Benoît Badiashile are still just “soon” to be back; Levi Colwill, Liam Delap, and Dário Essugo are not soon at all.

Robert Sánchez is back from suspension and eligible to play after his sending off last weekend, but Facundo Buonanotte is ineligible for this one, against his parent club.

Choose wisely.
